May 7th, 2019Purchased a mag of the 2000 vintage at the winery and brought it home in our checked luggage in October 2016. Probably wasn't stored properly in our apt for a few months- cork pushed up. However, it still tasted pretty damn good! Nice signs of aging that made this the best Bock wine we've had!

Sep 30th, 2016My first ever Hungarian wine. Dark bright plum color, tobacco, chocolate, spicy sweet paprika, and sour plum aromas. Oak, tobacco, cinnamon, star fruit flavors playing in my mouth. Full bodied, balanced ripe tannins and med. acidity. Two gold medals, including Brussels 2015, this is a very well balanced blend, aged for 24 months in a barrel. 60% cab, 30%cab franc, and 20% merlot. Impeccable with a potential aging of 5-6 additional years. Extraordinary concentration, a must have.
