2021/5-6. Traditional Saar Riesling, just starting to come into its own. Good acidity and minerality to balance the sweet apple and petrol.

2020 June / July. This was an interesting comparison with the 2016 kabinett, which I was guessing I might prefer to the theoretically sweeter spätlese. Instead, the spät just feels a bit deeper and richer, with all of the freshness intact.
