Deep ink juice. White pepper, oaky bouquet. Very dark berry fruit, and black pepper taste , more Zinfandel than pinot. Pretty cool and different, but uneven taste. Was waiting to balance out, but never did. Just not a great vintage. Wanted to like this, but it never came around.
