I've always been too hard on this cuvée comparing it to Chavaroche. With some age now this is completely on fire.

Showing beautifully. Stewed black and red berry fruits. black licorice, chocolate, leather & black pepper. Soft supple tannins. Full of stuffing and still elegant.

Not nearly as good as the last time I had this. Though at that time I was perhaps still on the high of '07 white label Carema. This is juicy and blocky tonight after an hour open and jostling about. A little reduction but not much. Meaty and peppery this seems shut down tonight, too. Lacks the concentration of Jamet it seems. Though only time will tell. Calls for a N Rhone Blind dinner. Interested? Seems a bit under, too. Could also be a bit shut down.
