Elegant style with perfumed aromatics that needed an hour of air to show its stuff showing black cherry, raspberry, smoke, meat, olive, dried herbs & violets.

Way way too young. Heady and high minded; will get quite generous. Would love to revisit in 8-12 years

Gordon's northern Rhone tasting 9/20/16. Single vineyard rather then cuvee. Nose had a more minty and purple floral qualities and lacy character than the cuvee. Palate is just lacy and acidic and floral and stony and balanced. Finishes long and complex. Yum.
