Subdued and muddled fruit on the nose: confected marshmallow, pomegranate skin, baking spices, and forest floor. The palate was much more intense with crunchy red berries, tar, smoke, and stony minerality. Elevated acidity, grippy medium+ levels of tannins. Some heat in the throat too. Medium finish.
