Price $14.
Nice ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
On the nose, black currants, plums, cherries, wood, earth, spices, light barnyard and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, vanilla, cloves, oak, tobacco, coffee, bitter herbs, green vegetables and black pepper.
Medium minus on the finish with soft tannins, spices and black pepper.
This is a drinkable, Kosher Cabernet Sauvignon from California. Simple and not fully balanced, spicy and a little bitter.
Better with food than all by itself.
I paired it with barbecued T-bone steak and grilled asparagus.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
