This was huge. 16.8% alc. took it out for some BBQ ribs. It needed decanting and still took 1/2+ to settle down and drink.
Had a hard time getting out of bed this morning!

MUST ALLOW TO OPEN UP A: pepper and currant. P: conistent with the nose but acidic. Maybe better as it opens up. Indeed, decanting softens it and bring forward currant and ripe plums.
