Impressive dry red. Deeply coloured and youthful, with fragrant aromas of violets, clove and cherry. Fruity and gutsy on the palate, it is surprisingly fresh and has a wonderful, lingering aftertaste. Fine authentic Douro. Good with steak. Lidl €9.99 bargain.

VERY solid Portuguese Red for the price! $6.99 at Lidl. Lots of ripe and tart red fruits on the nose, along with a scent of lemon, peppercorns, and red apple. Super dry. Amazingly good for what it costs... you could easily convince me that this is a more expensive wine.
