Turning a bit rustic here - still dark & inky w/black/red cherry & some brambly fruit, some spice & pepper - this varietal always reminds me of Zinfandel. Nice & full on mid-palate but astringent on finish. Not think this is getting any better...

Fab wine. Young. Vibrant and complex. Mineral qualities, high acidity, and bright red fruits. Think bing cherries. This evolved over a couple of hours.
