Unusual pale pomelo color. Muted dried grapefruit, white blossoms, & tangerine essence on nose; on palate long elegant & smooth, this drinks like a good white. Medium bodied, quince, more of the palate fruits, but a resolutely dry approach, & finishes dry. A reminder to myself that the roses I truly enjoy are because they’re really whites, & this is one of them. Screwcap.

Young peach and white smoke aromas waft up from the 2022 Chiaretto. This Rosé smooths over the palate with silky textural fruits contrasted with sour citrus. A saline tinge of minerality lingers as the 2022 finishes with medium length. $18.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2023)
