Has a very smooth, rich taste of dark fruit. Maybe a slight taste of vanilla as well. Exponentially better after breathing for half an hour. Pairs well with strong food like steak or sharp cheeses.

Definitely decant as a smooth velvety texture really presents itself. Quite fruity with a great finish- not harsh at all. Hint of earthiness at the end. On the lighter side for an amarone.
