Punches you in the face with brandy-like alcohol, vanilla, and a raisiny/date-like quality. Burns a bit, with a cavendish breath and again, the brandy kicker. Impact ale.

It doesn't get much better than this. Thick, creamy, a ton of chocolate and coffee flavors, and all the complexity of a great imperial stout. Basically everything I want in a beer.

More expensive than, and lacking the mid-palate of, BCBS. Nice to try, but I think I'd pass in the future.
