Mocha, roasted spices ie fennel, pepper, but also hints of white chocolate. Full-bodied with dry tannins. Thick and greasy palate. Long, elegant. Great work.

I'll pass on the nose because the olfactive functions are currently out of order. The palate is marked with surah with some blackberry and pepper. There is more to it though, with some red berries and a thickness and a grip that are not really consistent with the syrah wine I know. Some oak in there too. It is very persistent with oaky notes, a bit of a salty touch and blackberry. An inexpensive wine that delivers quite some value

No formal notes again but the impression i had during out first encounter was confirmed. This is simple, joyful, fruitful, playful and easy going. More or this !

Good surprise! The nose is northern Rhone like : blackberry, pepper, menthol, but also vanilla and oak. The palate is well crafted with a strong acid backbone and a brilliant fruit that plays around it. Good width and layers of textures make for a truly interesting wine. Delicate tannins spice things up a bit. Long finish with fruit and a touch of salt. More of that please!

Dark cherry jam, chocolate and caramel/rhum/cognac. Full-bodied, thick and fat but short on the palate (acid finish...unfortunate).

Just delightful. Silky smooth with rum chocolate bar notes typical of a Black Maiden, gentle vanilla and delicate spices (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom). Finish could be smoother with alcohol tucked in a bit more but overall a hugely satisfying experience.
