Absolutely love this wine. Chocolate, cherry, leathery, perfect with steak. Bold and full of flavor.

I got this as part of a WSJ+ wine order. Really enjoyed it and had a great subtle blackberry flavor to it.

Quite acerbic and sharp. Flat and earthy. Short after taste. Bitter almost sour. Not for me.

Amazing nose on this #malbec . Blackberry, chocolate, touch of smoke. Deep burgundy purple color. Taste is missing complexity and depth though there's a long pretty good finish with elegant tannins. There's a generous dose of vanilla and brighter acidity. Ascension has delivered better vintages and styles - I'd say this is a good wine outshone by great ones.

Got in the National Geographic first case. Very dry and earthy. Both of us like it.
