Allow this to open up for a while before drinking and you're in for a real treat. Lots of fruit, great balance, finely structured, a true gem.

Dark ruby in color with a dirty purple/ brick rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, sweet plums, currants, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, leather, figs, and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body and smooth, with medium acidity and long thin legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with black currants, plums, figs, sweet strawberries, cherries, leather, oak, vegetables, spices, earth, pencil lead, wet rocks and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish, with round tannins, spices and bitter herbs.

This is an above average, everyday Zinfandel, from Mendocino County in California. Drinking nicely right out of the bottle. Balanced and not too complex, but can be a good sipping or party wine.

Will pair well with BBQ Meats like Lamb on the grill.

Better after 30 minutes of being opened, with more complexity and a nicer mouthfeel.

14.7% alcohol by volume.

A nice quaffable Zin that is varietal correct.
While not making lasting memories I think it has a deserved spot (by the glass) on any everyday diner list.

Lighter Zin. Nice wine but not what I'm looking for in a Zin.

Overall, a good buy. Nice fruit and pepper but not overly done in any measure. Moderation in style.

Fruity and bright on the nose increasing in complexity across the palate. Great choice.
