This sharply focused Torrontés offers enticing floral lift and nuances of lychee, limestone, menthol and thyme. Its complex, expressive flavors of lemon, flowers and herbs are tactile and penetrating, and it finishes with gripping salty minerality. I could gulp this all through a summer’s day. $15.00 (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, June 2019)

$17 Small nose. Notes of lemon, honeysuckle, rose, and peach. Light bodied. Off-dry. Medium acid. Low tannins. Low alcohol. This wine is very floral. It has notes of rose petals, geranium, lemon zest and peach on the palate. This is an interesting, floral, medium zesty wine with notes of peach coming through on the finish. First time drinking a Torrontes!

Crisp, but not tart. Minerals. Not too fruity. Really nice.

Killer value. Super floral nose never becomes cloying. Dry and complex on the palate with loads of tropical fruit (passion fruit, mango, kiwi), purple and white flowers, and a salty snap on the finish that really saves it from almost being overly fruity & floral. Medium acid. Perfect pairing for a simple tossed salad with smoked salmon on a hot summer day.
