A little too dry for my taste! Too much citrus. At Cork & Candles in Center City, Philly with my two girlfriends. Love and Peace, people!

I really loved this Chardonnay. It’s so young you have to let it breathe … but 15 minutes or so is enough. There a complexity of fruit flavor, with an acidic bite, plus a nice oaky smoothness. From Naked Wines. Tasted 24 March 2023.

#Chardonnay #southafrca
Tropical fruit and floral notes on the nose. The palate is juicy with notes of pear and tangerine with mouth-watering acidity in the finish.

Sight: pale yellow to a golden hue, medium viscosity
Smell: toasted nuts, toasted bread, maybe some light herbs
Taste: high acidity, alchohol, dry, pear, lemon, fresh cut wood, dried herbs
Opinion: not my favorite Chardonnay, it was a little too acidic for my liking, and wasn't the oaky drop flavor I expected
