Confused by the other rating because this is a very good wine for the price. Reminds me of unique Italian varietals from Puglia. Yes it’s fruity but has a nice food acidity and interesting terroir.

👎 I didn’t think it tasted as bad as it smelled. My husband disagreed. He dumped it down the drain and I didn’t complain. Someone might like it, but not us. First Leaf.

Pretty delicious and complex. Cocoa and fruit and smoke and flowers.

Very oaky, little bit of a smokey meat flavor.

👎 Difficult to rate because we don’t generally like pinotage. This one was okay. First Leaf.

It had a lot of flavor at first then changed and tasted a bit like old socks. Just something off. Day 2 and 3 nice.

Robust, sour cherry notes, mineral flavors ( almost like graphite or slate) very distinct, but not my usual cup of tea. Paired well with a chorizo pizza.
