An interesting metamorphosis: at first taste last night, it seemed to be past its prime, with a brown sugar hint, and just a touch too much toasted oak on the nose. Come back to it tonight, and it seemed to bounce back to its prime, focusing on the fruit, balance and elegance we expected.
