See note from 22 weeks ago. Deep yellow - amber in colour. Caramel and oxidative notes then beeswax and honey notes. Palate of poached pears and quince with low acid. The next day on the palate a candied Orange with herbs. An unctuous texture - a mature St Joseph Blanc in top form.

Quite a rich lemon in colour. Overall the aromatics are more delicate for the sometimes unctuous varieties of Marsanne and Roussanne. Lovely aromatics of pear, honeysuckle and white flowers. The following night the palate was a little more luscious with notes of quince with low acid. A lovely wine.
