Definitely an interesting kiwi Sauv Blanc. Riper than most with lovely texture. There's a canned green bean note that I'm not all that fond of, though it's a minor detail. Its ripe but is fresh and it has complexity. Glad I gave this a try, but I'm not going to search it out.

I feel the 2 precedent vintages offered more lenght and complexity but the wine is still very singular and racy. A New Zealand must that offered a perfect match for a salmon carpaccio topped with a mango-avocado-gooseberry-fresh herbs-pink peppercorn salsa.

Got it from my local wine shop. They were right... pretty delicious and not a grapefruit like you may get with other sauvy bs from NZ. Not as crisp as expected, but understated sweetness, no hint of bubbles (which I sometimes feel w super crisp wine?). Would buy again!

Grassy with a salty smell on the nose. Flavors of honeysuckle and a strong tart/sour flavor of Passionfruit. Different than most Sauvignon Blancs that I've had.
