I love Claudio Ancarani's wines across the board, but this one tops them all. I think it could be blinded as Recioto di Valpolicella from a top producer. Incredible dessert wine for an even more incredible price. Stewed cherries, tobacco, raisins.

I thought i didn't like uva pasa. Until I drank this one. No sweet heaviness, just beautiful complexity with a long and interesting end.
