Great texture, phenolic and lengthy. The bitterness and grip plays well with the integrated oxidative notes that arise from this wines upbringing and bottle age. Sort of reminds me of a more mild Juraçon blend in regards to the phenolic content and aromatic brightness. 50 Fernão Pires, 25 Arinto, 25 Malvasia Fina e Rabo de Ovelha. 24-36 mo elevage.

Didn’t love this. Odd blend. Can really feel the 14%. Creamy and almost off dry feeling. Just doesn’t come together.

Quite an interesting Portuguese white blend. A bit amber in the glass, decent weight and some texture. Medium finish, medium acid. But the fruit flavors are a bit unusual - less white fruit and a bit more metallic / amber notes. Interesting.
