Dark garnet color. Long legs. Cherry nose. Vanilla and plum. Just luscious with a wonderful mouthfeel. I'm hearing this is Alpha/Omega's entry level bottling, but I'm very impressed!

Yet another blend that reaffirms my desire for these reds. I prefer blends for the complex mix of earthy tones and hints of fruit. This one didn't disappoint. Definitely on my recommended list.

The nose is all black fruit - plum, berry and current - mingled with black earth, black pepper and black truffle oil (you get the picture, this one is dark). The palette reflects these notes, but adds a tart element I wasn't expecting, finishing with a silty earthiness before a bit of oak.
