This is a super wine bursting with personality and value priced. Up front notes of kirsch and cola, very varietally typical, with a deft touch on the oak to add a bit of body and astringency to what could be rather ordinary. Compares very well with pretty much any circa $20 Pinot in the lcbo, punches above its weight through sheer charm and a good bit of unique character.
