Rated this a 93 four years ago, and at that time I would say that was a very solid and correct rating. Four years later, this one has started to lose a little bit of ground. Not quite as verbose and youthful, starting to show a lot of tart but still quite juicy fruit, tart underripe raspberry and plum, raisin oatmeal cookie. Finishes dirty...earth / soil. Still seems like this is tannic, but perhaps it's just the tannin dropping out! I think this 11 won't hold nearly as long as the 08, but at rhis time this one drinks the best vs the 04 and 08.
