Although I was not familiar with this winery, the deep purple '07 Akóma Zoúme Cabernet Sauvignon 'Zeus - Mountain Terraces Vineyard' was a most pleasant surprise. Oaky dark cherry, dark chocolate and cassis aromas were prominent on the nose. The underlying complexity and supple tannins lead to a most satisfying finish of impressive length.
