Greece is a major blind spot in my wine knowledge. This was very impressive.

Deep ruby to garnet.
Pronounced intensity developing nose of ripe fruits, blackberry jam, plum sauce, strawberry, nutmeg, chocolate, cedar, smoke, pepper, violet.
Dry, rich palate, med acidity, med+ ultra smooth velvety tannins, med alcohol, pronounced intensity.
Long chocolate finish.
Outstanding wine, maybe the best expression of Nemea agiorghitiko grape, balanced and shining, early accessible, can drink now, suitable for further aging.

Really seductive agiorgitiko, not usually too thrilled about agiorgitiko but the aromas are nicely balanced between earth, spice animal and fruit
