A lovely wine that expresses the funk and character of Chenin. Fairly intense floral, apple-y, honeycomb, and hay aromas apparent in the bouquet. These came through in the palate after about an hour. Finish was round--a touch alcoholic as it was served to us a bit warm. But once cooled it felt perfectly balanced. A great food wine. Think fish and mushrooms.
