Good cheap wine at Trader Joe’s

A simple Spanish Verdejo. Light to medium in body and crisp with high acidity.

Dry on the palate with limes, green herbs, grapefruits, citrus, green apples and white pepper.

Bitter finish with almonds.

Not for me, but a good food wine.

12% alcohol by volume.

Light, with a little bit of lemon. Went well with fish. Have liked some of the other wines at Trader Joe’s, but we would try this one again.

Label notes - clean, bright, green herbs, lime, fennel, with some peach and lavender hints. Refreshing- good with seafood, salads & light pastas.

Another yummy TJ find. Tart, dry with a long, slightly buttery finish.

Herbaceous with high acidity and zesty flavor. Lime, grapefruit pith, saline and white floral notes.
