Brief notes, on the go. Bottle I gifted my good friend in Dijon a decade ago which was left to age in his underground cellar.
Nice notes of plum, black berry jam, cherry, raspberry, licorice, garigue, tapenade and also some lactic notes, almost yogurty. The palate jugs the tongue, the mouthfeel is soft and yogurty, there are tannins that are now gentle and well integrated. The finish is licorice, blackberry jam and yogurt forward. Delicious stuff, at its prime. Don't wait up too long...

Very good with a roast meat. We ate with beef ribs, it matched perfectly. It needs about an hour of breathing...
