Dense inky purple-red in color. Shows a bit more fruit in nose than a typical Portuguese tinta - plum with some cherry, violet and applesauce. Red fruits in mouth - cherry, berry and plum. Seed tannins dominate in finish. Tasty wine that should improve with a little aging.
