A Pachas
Malvar

100% Malvar. First time I am trying this white varietal. Light straw golden color. Not terribly aromatic. Faint aromas of white flowers, dried parsley and dusty earth. The palate features yellow apple, unripe peach and apricot. Mineral note on the finish. Mouth watering acidity (touch of VA). Crisp, nicely balanced and crushable. The label notes that the Malvar grape almost went extinct. I’m glad it was resurrected. Revisited in November 2024. Still fresh and vibrant. Revisited again in April 2025. Passing its peak.
