Almaviva 1999, Puente Alto, Chile. Incredible Bordeaux-style red blend with dried cherry, cassis, graphite, dusty earth, leather, eucalyptus, with a whiff of pepper and vanilla spice. Soft and silky. 13.5 ABV #wine #sommelier #winesofchile — 10 years ago
I found this in a wine shop in the DC area years ago and it's been in my cellar for at least 10 years. Truly delicious wine. Definitely needed time to come into its own.
