A very good oaked version of Alvarinho.
But God I need that fruit!

This is the more mainstream/commercial wine this winemaker has. Honestly, it is a very good wine. But compared to the same style from the competition it gets a bit behind.. maybe if it would stay a bit longer in your mouth it could get away with it.
Not crispy enough..

Another very good example of aromatic version of Alvarinho of our region.
Acidity ✔ Fruit✔

What a great wine with 20% of it with oak contact.
Floral, fruity and slight influence from the oak, but nothing too aggressive.
In our Alvarinho region, people tend to not like oak influence on the wine.
This one is very subtle and has a great balance. An amazing wine!

A great wine! Still, they have a biological wine here, but I can't help comparing it with the 100% bio they have on which they did a better job I think.
This is still an amazing wine and a must try. I love this house and what they are doing.

From what I tasted from this winemaker, interestingly enough it is the one I liked the most. For an aromatic lover, this 9 months oaked wine is incredibly well made. Imagine and chardonnay but fruity. Very well done.

Not as intense as I wished. Lacks a bit of complexity and doesn't stay as long present in your mouth.
Still a very good wine.

Nice tropical and smooth flavour with subtle oak influence. Not as fruity or aromatic as my previous reviews and not the style I like the most, but a very well made wine.

Another great option. You get it all: Citrus, Green, Herbaceous, Stone and Tropical fruits.
High acidity, full bodied and long lasting month tasting. So fruity!

A very easy drinking wine. Could use a bit more complexity and intensity.
Still wouldn't get a no on a sunny day with some shrimp!

A fairly fruity Alvarinho. But they kind of missed stone and tropical fruits here a bit.. still a very good option with that good citrus and herbaceous flavour!

Not my cup of tea, but for sure you can see amazing skills at the cellar here!
But I want more fruit!

A very good slighty oaked Alvarinho.
As said before, I am not a fan of oak on an aromatic grape, but this one has everything very well balanced. Great winemaking skills!

Usual great Alvarinho. Loads of fruit and amazing aromas, great acidity and body, taste follows for a while.
Put some seafood next to it like we do it here and you are golden!

This is not the Soalheiro Reserve. It is the Soalheiro Nature Pur Terroir, 1st 100% biological wine from the property. Still not on Delectable.
My 2nd favourite wine is not filtered and 100% biological. There are no artificial stuff here and it is all about a great vineyard management.
Let's describe this Nature's great gift.
Great acidity as common on the Alvarinho grape, full bodied and long finish (you can taste in for a good while).
Let's get into the beauty of the aromas and flavours this one gives us. Amazing herbaceous 1st kick with green bell pepper and grass, followed by a great apple and pear (green fruits). After that, thanks to be unfiltered and be in contact with lees until you have the luck to swallow it, you'll have an amazing biscuit, bread mouth coating, with a buttery feeling thanks to the Malolactic fermentation (also known as malolactic conversion or MLF, is a process in winemaking in which tart-tasting malic acid, naturally present in grape must, is converted to softer-tasting lactic acid).
Great work on the field and great 1st Biological wine from this property. I can't wait to taste next year's!
Hopefully it'll have some great stone and tropical fruits to make it even more amazing.
Kudos to their team.

Rafael de Lima
I believe our beautiful grape competes with Rieslings and Sauvignon Blancs.
This is a Riesling style! Great crisp, and kick of apple and lime among others a bit softer.
