Violet flowers and dark chocolate caramel on the nose. Dry dark chocolatity/dark fruit tannins, black tea, chalky medicine, medium vanilla barrel toast and still a bit astringent. Needs another 8-10 years in the bottle. My rating jumps another 3-5 points in another 8-10 years. #velvety #potential — 9 years ago
