Ducal Seco Jerez-Xérès-Sherry

Not actually sure how old this wine is. It was in someone's cellar and forgotten about. Maybe 50-70 years of cellaring? Salt, yeast and fruit converted into creamy, mineral, tangy, waxiness. Almost similar to the way really old vintage champagne matures from bubble, fruit and freshness into dense, creamy, and complex wine. Pretty heady stuff. #nextlevelshit — 9 years ago

@Sazi Temel I'm sorry to say there is no more of this to be found. It was a very old bottle from a private cellar at a winemaker's house in Spain.

Domaine Joseph Roty

Marsannay Pinot Noir 2009

Unbelievable young burg. Sweet cherries, cola, baking spices, maple syrup on a powerful nose that pours out of the glass, palate has energy and ripe red fruit. It's juicy and penetrating. #nextlevelshit — 11 years ago

La Geynale Cornas Syrah 2010

Thought provoking Syrah. Smells of blood and game, primal cave man wine. Generous attack evolving into a linear sharper symmetry. #nextlevelshit — 11 years ago
