Looking back to 2014 wine trips this wine takes me to Tokaj where I first tried it. Splendid with pan seared breaded veal and mushrooms. The aromas include a hint of honeysuckle acacia and stone fruit of moderate intensity. The palate is broad, with a slightly thick texture but happily balanced by medium plus acidity. Smooth and even creamy. Medium plus slightly plush :-) finish. Bravo to the Furmint grape: it can be lovely dry. And inexpensive. #Hungary #winelover #Disznoko — 9 years ago
