France’s largest wine region has much to offer beyond the red wines which dominate production. Many of these are in the same style that consumers have come to expect from the South of France; pale, salmon pink hues from blends of Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache etc. However, Languedoc’s breadth of terroir, grapes and winemaking styles combines to produce many other hues of pink and styles of rosé wine. In this seminar we’ll taste through examples which demonstrate Languedoc's emergence in its rosé production and an overview of producers and styles that are shaping the rosé offerings.
