Juicy wine with loads of minerality. Dark red fruit with a hint of florality. Rustic and funky. Medium body, medium+ acid, medium- tannins. Wonderful pairing with red sauce Italian food for dinner. Purchased at Popina in Brooklyn, NY.

This new Chingao cuvee really ups the ante on Albahra; much more backbone/grip, deeper ‘minerality’ and less of that flighty sour fruit than its counterpart has. Perhaps fewer sulfites? Exciting!
