Sep 11th, 20182016 was a quite warm vintage in Yarra and it shows here. Dark fruits and elements of roasted meat and leather dominate the nose which is rather closed today. Fruit and tannin in balance but palate is also quite tight. Long length and balance foretell better things to come over the medium term.
