Enticing nose of new oak and honeysuckle. Peach, apricot, mead-reminiscent honey on the palate. Mild cream from the oak. Nice example of Northern Rhone Marsanne. Would pair beautifully with the richness of a Miso Black Cod.
Update: on my third tasting of this wine, I discovered definite notes of green olive and pith on the palate. This is fantastic wine that is a joy to revisit again and again. I plan on revisiting this wine in the very near future.
