Catching up on a collection of bottles enjoyed at A-Basin off-season. Enjoyed the mild weather and time away from the routine. Dark ruby, a little hot on the nose, with dark fruits, cherry and leather. Still tannic for my tastes, and I presume this will be one to revisit in a few years.

Dried raspberry & plum on the front. Lush, leathery middle. Sweatery, dusty finish. Bittersweet cocoa powder, smoked fig, currant, & cassis. Full bodied & powerful for a Zinfandel. Medium acidity.

Very good drinking with friends. Fabulous Zin, well balanced and firm structure beneath. Lovely but not overpowering fruit made for good pairing with game.
