After 2 ok and 1 horribly corked bottles I am opening another one and to be honest, it is just ok. This is not a cheap wine and my expectations are high. Not as good as the previous bottles I have had a few years ago and in my opinion on the way down. Overall a poor QPR.

Nov 28th, 2019The 2010 is supposed to a phenomenal year and this wine has sky high ratings. Initially I was disappointed and then decided to decant the wine which brought a marked improvement. Honestly it might have been best when I tasted it again the following day. Typical black berries, vanilla and oak. A lovely wine where I will cellar my remaining bottles for quite a few more years ... this wine should improve over time

Big and opulent with lots of jammy fruit but it is not overdone. Balancing acidity. This is quite good!!!
