Dirty ruby /brown in color with a light red wide rim.
Terrible on the nose with Barnyard, cherries, strawberries, plums, blackberries, beef jerky, green pepper, asparagus and white pepper.
Full-bodied but not bold, with medium acidity.
Fruity on the palate with cherries, strawberries, blueberries, earth, pencil lead, oak, cloves, licorice and light black pepper.
Medium Plus on the finish with extremely soft tannins and a bad aftertaste.
Not a great wine, almost reaching average. Nothing special, and I did not like the nose at all. Drinkable, though.
My first Israeli Pinot Noir, and not a good start. An entry level series, but that's what you can get in the U.S. stores.

2013 - Strawberries and tobacco create a wonderful nose and a lovely, lingering finish. I am not Jewish, and I am glad I was introduced to this vintage.
