Very very good 1985

The definition of elegance. What a beautiful wine. Cassis, pencil shavings, green pepper. Grippy finish that lasts for a solid minute.

1985. Belle complexité et encore bien en vie.

Night cap. Day 1 it was a little too green, but opened up by day 2 the fruit consumed some of the pyrazines and the wine ended up really well balanced. With a good decant, this is solid bdx, and it still has many years ahead of it

With the boys in Mollesund. Still a remarkable wine but started to lose some of its power

So well balanced. Vanilla, leather on the nose but not heavy, still has energy.
