Matured... classic Barossa nose of eucalyptus and tar, with ripe plum and boysenberry, dried violets, sage, anise, and olive tapenade. Fresh, ripe fruit hits first on the palate and is carried by acidity. Tannins are essentially resolved and integrated. Dark berry and raspberry fruit linger with enjoyable persistence. Cedar bark, clove and nutmeg shine on the mid-palate and carry to the finish. Enjoy now.

Nov 29th, 2019Hazy in the glass. Sexy, silky mulberry, raspberry, and black peppercorn. Fruit dominate nose, but still fresh, bordering on bruised. Palate is medium weight, driving by mouth-watering acidity with strawberry preserves. Finish does taper a little quick. In a great place now, doesn’t feel like it will last much longer.

Dec 31st, 2017Cedar and lavender on the nose, with tobacco and candied fruit. Drinking really well and very well rounded. The Grenache shows in a good way, reminding me of a quality Gigondas.
