I have always been a fan of the unheralded 97 Bordeaux vintage. I wouldn’t call this stunning but it is wonderful and fully mature. Fruit is still lively wrapped in a mature Bordeaux blanket.

Great for a 97. Still has a few more years to go. Good nose, good fruit. A little too acidic but who needs to split hairs.
