Dec 7th, 2020Inky purple is n color. Nose of nice dark chocolate, peppery, sugar plum, tobacco leaves, and some nice hint of spicy oak note. Taste is a nice mix of sweetness from sugar plum and cherry, rift amount of zest, noticeable tannins, some menthol, some place pepper, chewy, and silky. Aftertaste is nice zest mixed with residual sweetness and pepper note. Wow, this is really nice with her price tag. In fact, if you want to learn about petit Syrah and price concerned, this is your bottle.

Apr 15th, 2017Case alert. Potentially the best tj reserve I've tasted. Cocoa powder, eucalyptus, and black tea on the nose. Plum and blackberry and loads of earth and tannin on the palette. Clean, but complex finish of pipe tobacco and violets. Definitely a food wine. Fantastic.
